I had a strange epiphany reading Russell Brunson’s book Expert Secrets. Hate motivated me to quit smoking. Hate also motivated me to quit drinking and give up pot. All of this happened about 30 years ago.
Bad habits are hard to shake. Hating is not automatically negative. I quit smoking 30 years ago and never looked back by focusing my attention on everything I hated about smoking.
Hate is a dirty four letter word. It makes people squeamish. I hate incompetence. I hate to waste time. I hate having no free time… Hate can be used to channel powerful emotions.
Getting real about what you don’t like about a bad habit can carry you through the tough transition of turning a bad habit around and help you get to the starting point where you ditch your bad habit for good.
