The Aroma Turbo Pressure Cooker makes perfect brown rice quick and easy. Everything I own for cooking will fit in one box. If you buy one kitchen appliance gadget, you can’t go wrong with this. You’ll actually use it if you’re interested in eating better.
Typical rice recipes call for two to one ratio. I found that closer to a one to one ratio gives me separate grains, not a sticky clump of mush when I’m done. I use Trader Joe’s Ginger Miso vegetable broth instead of water.
- Fifteen minutes at 10psi (P3)
- Set the cooking time for 10 minutes
- Let the rice stand for ten minutes before opening the cooker
I can load the cooker in less than two minutes, come back in about 30 minutes and it’s done. For perfect white rice, reduce the cooking time to three minutes. The extra ten minutes is the approximate time it takes for the rice cooker to heat up and pressurize.
